Matt is Chief Operating Officer for Kinning Design Build. He joined his parents, Mike and Mary Kinning, in the business in 2010. Matt has been involved in KDB since he was born, everything from picking up trash, building decks, framing and trimming plus helping in the office. He knows the ins and outs of everything from working with potential new clients to the closing of their homes; his primary duties including sales, estimating and materials ordering.

He is a graduate of Lincoln Southwest High School and attended University of Nebraska-Kearney and Southeast Community College. In 2012 he earned his realtor’s license. Matt is a past president of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln. He served as the chairman for HBAL’s Young Building Professionals Council, chaired the HBAL Hog Roast committee and has helped with Santa Cop projects.

He has two kids Madelyn and Ryan. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking, golfing, Husker sports and hockey with the Blackhawks being his favorite team.
